Learn how to return or exchange an item purchased through Lego.com or a Lego Certified Store.
We want you to love your Lego products! If you’re not completely satisfied, you can return or exchange most items within 60 days of purchase.
🛍️ Online Orders
To start a return or exchange:
Sign in to your Lego Account.
Go to My Orders → View Details → Return or Exchange.
Select the reason for return (e.g. wrong set, duplicate, damaged on arrival).
Choose Return for Refund or Exchange for Replacement.
You’ll receive a prepaid BrickPost return label via email within a few minutes.
Once we receive your returned item:
Refunds are processed within 5 business days back to your original payment method.
Exchanges ship within 2 business days after inspection.
🏬 In-Store Purchases
For purchases made at a Lego Certified Store, please bring:
The original receipt.
The unopened product in its original packaging.
Store teams can process refunds, exchanges, or store credit on the spot.
⚠️ Exceptions
Custom-built sets or personalized products (like Build-a-Mini figures) can’t be returned unless faulty.
Digital products (e.g. downloadable instructions, app credits) are non-refundable once redeemed.
💡 Tip: If your set was a gift, you can still exchange it by choosing “I don’t have an order number” and providing the product barcode.
